Close the loop
Recycled plastic rarely comes out of the extruder in-spec on the first pass. Filabot's proven workflow is two-stage: extrude shredded regrind into a rough strand, pelletize it, then re-extrude the uniform pellets into final, print-ready filament. The Pelletizer makes that second stage fast and clean, producing consistent pellets that feed evenly into the EX3 or EX6. It is equally useful for compounding your own material blends or producing pellets for injection molding.

Part of the Filabot Modular Ecosystem
Every Filabot machine is a building block. The equipment is modular, so you can start with the workflow you need today and expand later—adding cooling, measurement, spooling, pelletizing or shredding—without replacing what you already own. All units are bench-top sized and run on standard 110 V single-phase power (no 3-phase required), so a complete line fits comfortably next to your 3D printers.
The Pelletizer covers the Pelletize stage and is included in the three Full Recycling Bundles. How it combines with the rest of the line:
- Mounts to the Spooler with the included hose connector to chop filament as it is extruded.
- Takes rough first-pass filament from the EX3 Filament Extruder, EX6 Standard Filament Extruder or EX6 Industrial Filament Extruder and returns uniform pellets to the extruder hopper for the final pass.
- Pairs with the Reclaimer to complete the loop: shred → extrude → pelletize → extrude to final filament.
- Use the Filameasure on the final pass to confirm the re-extruded filament holds diameter.
