FAQs

Is the SafetyPro IF2 compatible with all xTool laser machines?

Yes, Manual mode is compatible with all our lasers: P2S, P2, S1, M1 Ultra, F1 Ultra, D1, D1 Pro, M1, and F1;And auto-mode is only compatible with P2S, S1, M1 Ultra, and F1 Ultra.

Why can only certain models sync?

Syncing the duct fan with the engraving machine requires a Bluetooth dongle for information transmission. At present, only the S1, F1 Ultra, M1 Ultra, and P2S meet this requirement.

Is it compatible with laser machines from other brand?

The diameter size that the product can adapt to is 3 inches,as long as the size of the smoke exhaust pipe of the laser machine meets the requirements.

Which one should I pick between the Smoke Purifier and the Duct Fan? Can I use them together?

The Duct Fan is ideal for venting smoke outside. If you don't have access to venting outdoors, then a Smoke Purifier will be recommended. However, it's not recommended to use the Inline Duct Fan and Smoke Purifier together.

Is the duct fan waterproof?

Yes, it is waterproof. The dust and water resistance rating is IP55, meaning water flow during cleaning will not affect the fan.

What is the CFM of IF2? / How Does IF2 Airflow Compare to the First Generation?

The IF2 boasts a CFM of 140 when unloaded, with a laser exhaust port and fan both measuring 3 inches in diameter, ensuring a perfect fit for your laser machine. When connected, the CFM is 122.

In contrast, traditional 6-inch fans have an unloaded CFM of 410, but when connected to the laser machine, the CFM drops to 65, resulting in a significant decrease in suction and airflow.

In tests conducted under the same conditions, the suction power of the new fan is three times that of the traditional 6-inch fan, while also demonstrating superior airflow performance.

How can I achieve the best exhaust results?

Ensure all connection points are securely fastened to prevent air leaks.

Straighten the exhaust duct as much as possible and avoid using excessively long ducts to minimize the airflow loss caused by inside wrinkles.

Regularly clean the Duct Fan according to the instructions in the user manual.

*Note: It's not recommended to turn on the Duct Fan and the built-in exhaust fan of xTool P2/S1/M1 together.
