UltiMaker Tough PLA
UltiMaker Tough PLA is a technical PLA filament with toughness comparable to ABS. While ABS is known for its strength and impact resistance, it can be challenging to print with due to warping and the need for higher temperatures. UltiMaker Tough PLA provides a similar level of toughness but with the simplicity and safety of regular PLA, making it easier to print with and ideal for larger, technical models where reliability and precision are key.

Automatic material detection with this filament will only work when used with the UltiMaker 3, UltiMaker S-Line, and Factor 4 printers.
The new UltiMaker NFC 2.85 mm filament is 100% compatible with UltiMaker 2+, UltiMaker 2 Extended+, UltiMaker 2 Go and the UltiMaker Original+ Kit.
The difference is that you will only get the benefit of automatic material detection when using the UltiMaker NFC 2.85 mm filament exclusively with the UltiMaker 3, UltiMaker S-Line, or Factor 4 printers.
