Lithium Battery: 1200mah
Type-C charging: 5VDC and 1A

Features

1) Vacuum valve and pump:

A special valve and a pump are used to suck the air out to create a vacuum seal and this will prevent the moisture in the air from getting into the container.

2) Precision vacuum control:

The electric pump can bring the internal pressure down to -30kPa within 40 seconds to create a very strong vacuum seal. You can see deformations occurred to the lid and container body caused by the air pressure.

3) Vacuum indicator:

when completely vacuum-sealed, the center of the vacuum valve will collapse inward from its original dome shape.

4) Long-lasting vacuum:

By using the electric pump, the vacuum level will be about -30kPa every time, which is better than using a manual pump.   That means the vacuum seal of your filament container will be kept for a longer period of time and re-pumping will become less frequent.

The pump is powered by a rechargeable battery, and one charge will last 1-2 months for normal use.

Testing

The vacuum filament container has been tested with a 750g filament spool inside for 30 days. The graph below shows the changes of the relative humidity (grey line) inside the container and the ambient humidity (red line) as the storage time increases. Five pouches of 15g desiccant are included in the container.

How to use

STEP 1: Place your filament spool inside the container with some desiccant pouches, put on the lid and align the tabs of the lid and the container, engage the 4 strong clamps.

STEP 2: Push down the pump into the center of lid and make sure it fully covers the vacuum valve which is located in the center of a lid. While pushing done, simply push the start button located on the top of the pump to start pumping. The pump will automatically stop once the preset vacuum level is achieved. Or, you can also push the start button again to stop manually.

STEP 3: Use your index finger to horizontally push the outside edge of a vacuum valve towards its center will break the vacuum seal in order to open.

Get the Quality Filament You Need

Nothing will impact your 3D printing results like the kind of filament you use. Good filament is highly consistent in diameter, is wound evenly onto the spool with just the right amount of tension, and will not tangle when being unwound. 3D Universe offers a wide range of high-quality filaments to choose from.
