What does "factory reconditioned" mean?
A Factory Reconditioned Form 3 is a Form 3 3D printer that has been reconditioned by Formlabs at the factory rather than sold new. Formlabs offers these printers as a complete package — the reconditioned printer plus a Form 3 Resin Tank V2.1, a Form 3 Build Platform, and a Form 4 Finish Kit. It is the same laser-powered stereolithography (SLA) platform, compatible with the same 27 Formlabs materials, the same resin tanks and build platforms, and the same PreForm and Dashboard software as a new Form 3.
- Reconditioned printer — the package is built around a Form 3 Factory Reconditioned 3D Printer supplied by Formlabs.
- Complete starter package — Form 3 Resin Tank V2.1, Form 3 Build Platform, and Form 4 Finish Kit are included so you can begin printing as soon as you add resin.
