Advancements TV Series with Ted Danson to Feature 3D Universe

We are excited to announce that 3D Universe and e-NABLE will be featured on the Advancements TV Series with Ted Danson in an episode that will air December 21st at 1:30pm ET on CNBC!

In the upcoming episode titled “Innovative Solutions in 3D Printing Technology for a Brighter Future” – Advancements with Ted Danson will focus on how developments in 3D printing technology are being used to give the world a helping hand.

3D Universe and e-NABLE

Viewers will learn about what makes 3D Universe innovative and unique and will also explore our relationship with the e-NABLE volunteer community, which makes free 3D printed assistive devices for people around the globe.

We will share more about how 3D Universe supports e-NABLE and how we developed assembly material kits to make it easier for volunteers and schools who are producing e-NABLE hands and arms. In addition, audiences will be educated on our work creating the e-NABLE Web Central platform, which matches e-NABLE volunteers with e-NABLE device recipients.

3D Universe and STEM Education

Over the years, we have been able to mentor students and educators in their never-ending quest to find examples of using 3D printing to solve real-world problems. Thanks to our work with e-NABLE, we have been able to visit STEM-based classrooms, public libraries, and other educational events to help inspire the next generation of changemakers.

We think our work with the e-NABLE volunteer community is a great example of the future of manufacturing, making products when they’re needed, where they’re needed, with minimal waste. We’re excited to be able to share this vision with a broader audience.
