It's that time of year for holiday parties, family gatherings and feasting until we can't possibly feast anymore...but then somehow find room for another bite of Aunt Susie's pumpkin pie.
It is laser cutting, 3D printing, vacuum forming and all out crafting season and we have put together this blog post with a few of our favorite ideas for some fun projects that might inspire you!
Below are some of our favorite finds for laser cutting and engraving projects as well as 3D printing creations that are sure to be fun conversation pieces for your guests!
Laser Cut Thanksgiving Projects
Check out these adorable Thanksgiving Gnomes from Spoonberryhollow on Etsy!
"Each gnome has an interchangeable hat and accent piece, which for this design is a turkey drumstick and a slice of pumpkin pie with whipped cream topping. Gobble banner design and tiered bases are also included in cut files!" - Spoonberryhollow
Each gnome is sized approximately 4" wide x 7" tall with the base.
Add some Thanksgiving humor and fun to your celebration with this "Thanksgiving Wishes" mini cutting board laser ready SVG file from MintedCoralDigital!
This cute little turkey tabletop decoration by LaserCraftByDung is giving us the permission we need to indulge on all the things we want to taste and worry about the wobble later! Remember to wear pants with elastic tops for that little bit of extra room you will need for your laser etched pumpkin pie!
Want to add a little more "Spice" to the desert table this year? How about a laser etched pumpkin pie to wow your guests and family?
While this can make for a great conversation piece this holiday season, keep in mind that laser etched pumpkin pie tends to smell like burnt pumpkin pie (for obvious reasons!) but according to those who have shared these projects - it tastes delightful, especially if you smother it in whipped cream or ice cream!
Thanks to YD and Design Bundles for sharing their lovely pie creations with us!
Not only are these personalized name place holders from EngraveCelebration a wonderful and elegant touch to your Thanksgiving table, but your guests can take them home as a keepsake gift!
Give your guests and kids something fun to do while they wait for that dinner bell to ring for the feast! These cute little personalized turkey place holders by HudsonValleyMakersCo make a great gift and even more so when your guests get to help create them and take them home as a keepsake!
This Interchangeable "Dress Your Own Turkey" laser cut project by RecycledFarmhouse is great fun for children and adults alike! Choose your beak, your eyes, your hat, feet and feathers and give your turkey a personality all it's own! Keep the grandkids busy while they eagerly await those tasty rolls grandma is baking from scratch! Fun for parties, family gatherings and classrooms!
"The Giving Plate" by STLDesignShop comes in multiple formats to place on a plate and be gifted with food to friends or family at Thanksgiving, Christmas, or just because! This would make a great Welcome gift for a new neighbor, or coworker. Most often the file is either placed on plate with vinyl or etched. Colors can be altered easily within the svg file. It's a perfect file for vinyl or sublimation DIY cookie exchange plate or housewarming gift!" - STLDesignShop
3D Printed Thanksgiving Project Ideas
This cute little 3D printed turkey design from STL Model Design would make a fun table decoration on it's own, but pair it with a Mayku thermoforming machine or MY YARD Vacuum former and you could make some adorable chocolate treats to share!
