The xTool X1 is a next-generation, all-in-one modular laser platform engineered for small businesses, makers, and production studios. Every X1 includes a 55W CO₂ laser, ideal for cutting and engraving common non-metal materials such as wood and acrylic, with the option to add a 20W Diode Galvo Module for high-speed fine engraving. With xTool's Laser Swap™ system, the X1 can be expanded to support up to five different laser technologies — CO₂, Diode, UV, MOPA, and Fiber — making it one of the most versatile laser machines available today.
Most desktop lasers force you to choose between a fast galvo head with a tiny working area and a slower gantry with lots of space. The X1 combines both. A high-speed "Flying-Galvo" system is mounted on a large-format gantry, driven together through a synchronised four-axis linkage, delivering galvo speeds of up to 6,000 mm/s across a 615 × 320 mm working area.
With up to 4× the work area of a typical galvo laser, the X1 handles oversized creations with ease.
To expand beyond the base CO₂ laser, you add the 20W Diode Galvo Module, which unlocks UV, MOPA, and Fiber expansion. Each optional source clips on as a "backpack" module on the rear of the machine.
Triple-camera precision, AutoLift height-adjustable bed, and automatic calibration reduce manual setup. The X1 auto-calibrates all combined laser modules to one shared processing coordinate system with an alignment accuracy of up to 0.2 mm.
The frame is a die-cast aluminium chassis designed to remove the micro-vibrations that can leave visible seams in large engravings. Combined with dual cameras, image stitching, and automatic focusing, the X1 is engineered for repeatable, batch-ready results.

Nothing will impact your 3D printing results like the kind of filament you use. Good filament is highly consistent in diameter, is wound evenly onto the spool with just the right amount of tension, and will not tangle when being unwound. 3D Universe offers a wide range of high-quality filaments to choose from.
