Move aside TMC2209 - you're just not cool enough. The TMC2226 is an improved version of Stepper Driver that both offers more silent operation and significantly reduces heat with a larger heat dissipation pad with heatsink. One of our favorite community users recorded a 40C difference in temperature!! (results will totally vary).
Please note:
When using these stepper drivers you need to change the resistor Ohms to 0.15 from the default of 0.11. You should set the following in your config file:
