Debind and sinter Filamet™ in a kiln, making 100% metal, ceramic, or glass parts. A sintering refractory ballast is required to hold the part shape for this process.
Sintering Refractory Ballast Steel Blend is available in approximately 1kg jars (~620mL).
Used for: Debinding and sintering Inconel 718, Stainless Steel 17-4, and Stainless Steel 316L Filamet™.
Key advantages: Antioxidant in the stainless steel sintering process. Steel Blend can be reused many times. Steel Blend changes color to a pale yellow-orange color.

Max Temperature: 1600°C
How To Use: Use this refractory ballast to bury prints in a crucible for debinding and sintering. Cover with Sintering Carbon, then place the crucible in the kiln and start the program. Full instructions can be found here.
