Taulman Filaments have a reputation for being cost-effective and suitable for real-world applications. Taulman's Bridge Nylon is a competitively priced filament for making highly durable 3D prints.

With the ability to withstand up to 4,800 PSI of Tensile Stress, your Bridge 3D Prints will be able to withstand a lot of punishment. This inherent toughness make it suitable for fabricating mechanical moving parts or load bearing structures. At 3D Universe, we've 3D printed entire prosthetic limbs using only Taulman's Bridge Nylon.

Bridge improves upon older Taulman Nylon filaments with both reduced shrinkage of prints, and reduced water uptake. Additionally, Taulman Bridge is slightly translucent, allowing for easier visual inspection of completed prints.

Important Note: Taulman Bridge is still measurably sensitive to moisture. If a spool has been left exposed for any period of time, it's been recommended to store it in an oven at 60C to 70C for up to 2 hours.

Usage

Extruder Temperature 250C - 265C
Heated Print Bed Temperature 45C
Print Speed 80% of ABS speeds is recommended by Taulman, we recommend running print jobs even slightly slower
Retraction 1 mm for each 0.1 mm of nozzle width e.g. 0.4 mm nozzle = 4 mm retraction

One of Bridge's advantages over other polymers is the ease of getting first layer adhesion. Simply coat the print bed with a thin layer of PVA glue formula or a glue stick.

Get the Quality Filament You Need

Nothing will impact your 3D printing results like the kind of filament you use. Good filament is highly consistent in diameter, is wound evenly onto the spool with just the right amount of tension, and will not tangle when being unwound. 3D Universe offers a wide range of high-quality filaments to choose from.
