Copper Filamet™ Print and Sinter Kit
The Copper Filamet™ Print and Sinter Kit is designed for quick metal printing success.
What’s Included: 0.5kg spool of Copper Filamet™ (2.85m), Filawarmer, 300mL Stainless Steel or Alumina Crucible, 1kg Al2O3, 0.5kg Magnesium Silicate, 0.5kg Sintering Carbon.
NOTE: This material requires the use of a 0.6mm hardened steel nozzle (not included). UltiMaker 3D printer users should use a CC Print Core 0.6mm (sold separately).
Specs: The 0.5kg Copper Filamet™ included with this kit contains 87.0% - 90.7% metal and has a density of 4.8g/cc - 5.0g/cc.
High Compatibility: This Filamet™ enables any open-architecture Fused Filament Fabrication 3D printer to produce metal objects. Even works in 3D printing pens!
Easy to Print: The Print and Sinter Kit includes everything you need to get started, all you need is an open architecture 3D printer, a 0.6mm hardened steel nozzle, a Filawarmer, and a model to print. Print like regular PLA. Place your spool so that the filament coming off is going straight into the extruder. The flow rate in your slicer may need to be adjusted up to 135%. Little to no warping occurs during printing.
Advanced Properties: Filamet™ is less hygroscopic than regular PLA. Filament dryers have adverse affects on Filamet™. Spools should not be dried.
Fully Sinterable Metal Filament: Once fired in a sintering furnace, the result is 100% metal.
Special Qualities: One of the easiest materials to print and sinter.
Used For: Partner Innovators have used this filament for induction coils, electronics, heat sinks, antimicrobial applications, and research.
Crucible Specs: Stainless Steel: 73mm D x 98mm H / Alumina: 93mm D x 93mm H
