Ultimaker Brand CPE Filament

Now Available At 3D Universe

At 3D Universe, our streamlined approach is to deliver a focused set of products that perform exceptionally well. Filament is no exception. As such, we are especially pleased to announce that we are now carrying Ultimaker's own brand of filament. We can now offer our customers filament that is designed specifically for use with Ultimaker 3D printers.

Durability with Flexibility, Ease of Printing
CPE like ABS will yield durable prints. Thus, it's suitable for fabricating mechanical parts. CPE is also more flexible than ABS. But, CPE is doesn't output the same fumes and particle emissions as ABS. It’s also chemical resistant and can be printed water-tight.

Printing Specifications
CPE is best printed at temperatures between 235ºC and 250ºC, with higher temperatures being more favorable. Use of PVA-based glue will work for first layer adhesion. The suggested bed temperature for CPE is 65ºC. For the best possible results, we strongly recommend using the Ultimaker Advanced Printing Kit with this filament.

NOTE: 3D Universe is authorized to sell this product in the United States of America, only.

Works With Most 3D Printers That Accept 2.85 mm
Ultimaker CPE is tested primarily for use with Ultimaker 3D Printers. But, it will also function quite well on any other printer with a heated bed that works with standard 2.85 mm size filaments. This includes LulzBot 3D Printers.

As CPE is easier to print with than ABS, it's a suitable material choice for users that are newer to 3D printing. With its flexibility and chemical resistance, CPE increases the range of possible applications.

Get the Quality Filament You Need

Nothing will impact your 3D printing results like the kind of filament you use. Good filament is highly consistent in diameter, is wound evenly onto the spool with just the right amount of tension, and will not tangle when being unwound. 3D Universe provides a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all filament we sell. If you have any problems, just send back the unused portion of the spool for a full refund. Check out our filament collection...
