This unique filament contains actual bronze particles and weighs 3 times the weight of normal PLA. You'll produce stunning prints with a smooth matte finish. And if you sand or polish your pieces, they will positively shine.

colorFabb has tested and verified this 2.85mm filament on the Ultimaker 3D printers.

Bed Temperature (optional): 50-60C
Pro tip: for an awesome, shimmering finish, try sanding and polishing your parts. Start with 120-180 grit, making sure all the printed lines vanish. Be careful not to sand away too much detail. Then follow up with 240-320 grit and finish with 600 grit or higher. Finally, apply some copper polish with a clean, soft cloth.
Extra Pro-tip: we ran our piece in a rock tumbler to get an exceptionally smooth and polished finish. Try it yourself, and let us know if it works!

The colorFabb team is obsessive about the quality of their filament. During production, they use advanced systems to monitor the diameter of their filament as many as 1000 times per second. They're willing to guarantee 0.05mm +/- on both 2.85mm and 1.75mm colorFabb 3D printing filaments. You can rest assured that your printer is extruding the exact amount of material desired.
Packaging Quality
Each spool of colorFabb 3D printing filament comes sealed airtight in a double barrier foil, which protects it from the elements as it makes its trip to your 3D printer.
