3D Universe Terrafilum TPU Filament (2.85mm)

3D Universe Terrafilum TPU is an industrial grade bendable material that creates smooth and flexible parts; 3D Universe Terrafilum TPU includes a special additive that allows it to extrude more smoothly, with less stringing and better adhesion than most TPU materials. If you've had trouble printing TPU before, give 3D Universe Terrafilum TPU a try! Ideal for gaskets, couplings, and connectors.

Recommended print settings:

  • Print temperature: 230-240C
  • Bed Temperature: No heat
  • Fan Speed: 50%
  • Flow rate: 106%
  • Print speed: 25mm/sec (30mm/sec for infill)
  • Retraction: Enabled
  • Retract at layer change: Disabled
  • Retraction distance: 15mm
  • Retraction speed: 25mm/sec
  • Retraction extra prime amount: 0.4mm3
  • Use a thin layer of glue stick or Magigoo on the bed (especially important when printing on a PEI surface to prevent over-adhesion)

Note that the 3kg spools will require the use of an external spool holder. We recommend making a "lazy-susan" style spool holder so the spool can lay horizontally and unwind smoothly. Consider printing this model using the 51mm adapter that's included.
