CREATE OBJECTS WITH AN ATTRACTIVE METALLIC FINISH
With ColorFabb's SteelFill and a bit of post-processing, you can produce 3D prints with a stunning metallic finish. SteelFill is a Dutch-made filament infused with actual steel particles. Bring your 3D printing capabilities to the next level with SteelFill.
HARDENED NOZZLE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
The high steel content of the SteelFill material makes this filament quite abrasive to brass nozzles. It's not as bad as the carbon fiber, XT-CF20 material, but can effect the print quality after printing 1.5 kg. Therefore it's recommended to print with abrasive resistant nozzles.
If you have an Ultimaker 2+ or Ultimaker 2 Extended+ printer, please check out our 3D Solex Everlast Nozzles. If you have an Ultimaker 3 or Ultimaker 3 Extended, please consider the Ultimaker CC Print Core or a 3D Solex HardCore upgrade kit along with a 3D Solex HardCore Everlast Nozzle.

Pro Tip/Post-Processing
ColorFabb recommends polishing SteelFill in a manner similar to BronzeFill, by applying sandpaper. Start with a coarse sandpaper and progress to higher grit count. Polish with steel wool to achieve a nice metallic finish.
Packaging Quality
Each spool of colorFabb 3D printing filament comes sealed airtight in a double barrier foil, which protects it from the elements as it makes its trip to your 3D printer.
